Wow, 1 open heart in a lifetime is more than enough for me. I cant believe you are posting that close to having open heart surgery. 3 in 7 months really is a lot.

One of my friends used to say "Mario Lemieux didn't get cancer; he was so tough he asked for cancer." I now have a new standard of toughness. Curt had two open heart surgeries and then said "Screw it, I'll take three."

docs are sending me home tomorrow. I'm feeling stronger and breathing deeper. Got a long road to recovery ahead of me, but I'll do what it takes to get past this and get back into things again. I certainly would like to make it out to some shows and see everyone.

Glad to have you back, Curt.

Will you need more of those operations in the future?

Happy to have you back!

Any hot nurses? ;)

Wishing you good health!

LOL! My grandpa had 5 arteries bypassed just before Christmas... he said the only thing he misses about the hospital is the nurses. :)

Good to hear things are coming along well, Curt!

Curt,

Looks like I needed to check non-2600 and arcade boards more often. Didn't know you were in with all of this again. Nicole and I send all of our best, wish you a speedy recovery and know you are GOING to get better. Maybe not feeling like it all today but you'll be moving Football tables and Computer Spaces before you know it!

All my best brother,

Cassidy

Death: Face ME, boy!!

Curt: No thank you! :)

Richter Belmont: Hydro Storm!

Three surgeries? Tell your doctor to do it right the first time! :P

Serious now. I am glad you are well, Curt. You didn't give in to that ol' heart trouble. You gotta be pretty tough to hang in there through that much surgery, IMO. Rest, and I hope this is the last time you have to have surgery for a LONG time.

Hi Everyone,

I am typing from my home computer at long last, I got home last night from the hospital, I'm pretty worn out right now, gonna take it easy for the next few days, catch up a little on my lost month at the hospital, just get my barrings again. Feeling good, breathing is much better, pain still sucks, but I've got some very nice drugs that are helping a bit with that. Hopefully in the next day or two I can start tacking the tons of emails I need to catch up on. I'm also going to try and work out something with Albert over the next 2 weeks and see if Atari Age can be the distributor for the classic USB joysticks as I just can't handle order shipments right now. I'm up to sitting in a chair for 1 hour at a clip, taking a walk for 10 mins, then having to crash for a 2 hour nap several times a day, so I don't think I'm going to be fit for duty in getting everyone's orders out for a while.

Curt

Hot nurses - I happen to have married the damned hottest and sexiest nurse around, she's actually a Nurse Practitioner (think Nurse who can write perscriptions, can do minimally invasive procedures and do pretty much and a bit more then most residents can do in a hospital.)

Thank God she is my wife, because shes the one who made me come in and get this all handled by the CV team at NYU Medical Center where she worked for 8 years in the Transplant Unit, so she had the head of Cardiology on Speed-Dial.

Hahahaha.. that was just funny. You've been playin' the Dracula X Chronicles too much man.

But again on a more serious note, glad to hear you're starting the recovery process Curt. Just take it easy.
