I have to believe that for that price, considering how cheesy the graphics look in the game link, that any 2600 collector is much better served buying several ultra-rares rather than this one. It looks even cheesier than...dare I say it...E.T. !!

Yes the original one supposedly did (although I've never seen a picture of the actual case), but this is a different proto. There are two different versions now.

i personally won't be dumping this cartridge, and it will probably only be in my possesion a day. i am sure though, that the future owner will be dumping for the community.

 

of course, i have been known to change my mind and hold onto things... in which case i would dump it.

From what I was told, the Apes AI is different. They move around and don't all appear at once. Sounds like a later version to me.

1400 is not too surprising. POTA is a cult movie series, I'm sure there

were collectors of sci-fi stuff who put bids in. Also since the proto is

mostly complete it would be more valuable IMHO.

 

After viewing that link about the game, I think it looks pretty cool. Too

bad it was never released.

I already stated the game is different than the dumped version.I have 2 protos of the POTA and they are both different
