Killzone 2

Recommended Posts

Don't know if anyone else downloaded the demo (I got mine from the U.K. store), but after spending 30min with the demo......WOW!!!

This may be the first game in quite some time (at least for me) that lives up to all the hype that is preceeding its release. Beautiful graphic's, not a bit of slowdown, great control, incredible action..... I'm very, very impressed so far!!

Daytona...... the PS3 is region free so you can download whatever you want from any region PSN Store and it will run on your PS3. I have three accounts (European, Japanese, and U.S.) and download "region exclusives" regularly.

The only limitation to the above is that if you buy a game, any DLC ***MUST*** be from the same region as the game you purchased. As an example, if you buy the Japanese version of Call of Duty or the game Pixel Junk Monsters from the Japanese PSN store, any DLC you buy must also be from the Japanese store as DLC from the U.S. or European store won't work with a Japanese game and vice-versa.

And when you made your account, if you selected the region you wanted as the U.S., then you are seeing the U.S. store, even if the ticker is displaying Japanese text.

Thanks. So if I want to turn on the EU or JAP store I need to log off, then relog in with the other screen names?

Appreciate the help.

Ok now I have to get it.

How do you create another account?

I can tell you need to create another user on your PS3, login as that user and then Im not sure, is there a way to get to the UK or Japan Store from that point?

Create a user, try to log into the store. It'll tell you that you need a Network account. Set it up as a UK account or whatever, fill out all the info like name, addy, etc and online name (which can be the same as the account you are on. Just use a London zip like NW3 and any street and you'll be good to go.

I use a different name for each account.. helps keep them separate from one another.

Yeah, but I mean co-op through campaign, not deathmatch. I mean people talk all kinds of crap about Halo sucks this and Halo sucks that and it still, even in it's original form 8 years later, does what just about every other FPS game hasn't on consoles. Halo 3 has 4 player online or local co-op through the campaign, not some shoddy half baked made up campaign ( lookin at you Resistance 2) or single player only campaign but you still have to deal with 3 other NPC's with you the whole time ( lookin at you KZ2). If I gotta hoof it with 3 other people anyways, why can't at minimun 1 of them be used by another real human being online or local?
