the.golden.ax
That's almost as pretty as a full Arcadia 2600 tape set AX
Shawn
That's almost as pretty as a full Arcadia 2600 tape set AX Except that the NES black box set is worth a shitload more money.
the.golden.ax
Got a link to a complete list? I'm quirky in my collecting. All the Red 2600, all the black grid Genesis... that kind of thing. I wonder how bad the black nes boxes are for a complete set (number and value) AX
zach1845
most of these black boxes are the cheaper titles 20 -35 each Some however especially Clu Clu land donkey jr and mario arcade could fetch over 100 each

mb7241
There are 30 NES black box games in total. Following is a list of titles plus their approximate rarities (1-10 scale) and CIB prices, assuming excellent condition (7.5-8.5/10). Note that near-mint to mint boxes equate to significant increases in prices on the rarer stuff. 10-Yard Fight (R3/$15) Balloon Fight (R6/$40-$50) Baseball (R3/$10) Clu Clu Land (R8/$60-$80) Donkey Kong (R8/$70-$90; 3-screw variant w/non-hangtab box = R10/$150-$200) Donkey Kong 3 (R7/$60-$80) Donkey Kong Jr. (R7/$60-$80; 3-screw variant w/non-hangtab box = R10/$150-$200) Donkey Kong Jr. Math (R9/$250-$350) Duck Hunt (R3/$15) Excitebike (R3/$15-$20) Golf (R2/$10) Gumshoe (R7/$45-$60) Gyromite (R3/$15; 3-screw variant w/non-hangtab box = R10/$120-$160; "big box" version = R9/$250-$350) Hogan's Alley (R4/$15-$20) Ice Climber (R5/$30-$40) Kung Fu (R3/$15) Mach Rider (R4/$15-$20) Mario Bros. (R7/$75-$100) Pinball (R3/$15) Popeye (R6/$30-$40) Pro Wrestling (R4/$15-$20) Slalom (R6/$35-$45) Soccer (R6/$25-$30) Stack-Up (R8/$250-$300) Super Mario Bros. (R3/$20-$25) Tennis (R4/$15-$20) Urban Champion (R7/$40-$55) Volleyball (R8/$40-$55) Wild Gunman (R7/$30-$40) Wrecking Crew (R7/$40-$60) Again, I stress that these prices assume the lower end of "collector grade" pieces. A minty Stack-Up, for example, can fetch over $400 easily, and a minty Slalom may go as high as $100 at open auction (very few of either of these surface in 9/10 condition...in fact, I've only seen one Stack-Up and zero Slaloms to come up for sale or auction in such condition).
