1983 Q*Bert Nelsonic Watch

Recommended Posts

I have a Q*Bert watch from 1983 made by Nelsonic, as seen here:

http://www.handheldmuseum.com/Nelsonic/QBert.htm

It looks brand new in the box. Has instructions and everything. Little dusty.

I haven't had a chance to test it out yet, but would anyone know an approximate value? I'm looking to sell it and if it's a nice offer I'd be interested in getting rid of it. I'm not looking to get a million dollars.

I will have pictures of it in a few minutes.

I dunno, I sold a Nelsonic Pac-Man watch in 2005 or so for $125 on ebay. It was the earlier model with the metal joystick knub as opposed to button keys. I bought it at a yard sale for $.25 with the intention of cutting the band off and carrying it in my pocket as a timepiece, I did research on it beforehand and found out of its value. I had to sell it to pay the $109 speeding ticket I received between the yard sale and home...

Thanks for the info guys. I'm about to send Wonder a PM back.

I like the ones with the joysticks better, but they look like they'd break more easily.

The problem is that you lose the joysticks, and it hurts to play the game without them. That little knob really digs into your thumb!

Sold. Thanks. Will ship out today when I wake up sometime. It's 3am here and I'm still up playing games. :D

I won't say unless he wants to say, but I will say this because I've be DYING to tell someone.. I paid $1.99 for it. That's why I wasn't looking to sell it for a million bucks because I sort of fell bad, but at the same time don't feel too bad.

I'm glad I'm not the only person who's gotten a speeding ticket while out yard-sale-shopping for games. :)
