Cobra Commander #1 Posted February 16, 2009 I was looking through my meager few boxed games and noticed this doorbuster price from Revco. I got this game at a Pensacola thrift a year and a half ago. No telling when it was last at Revco. Anyone else got any "for the low" retail price tags on their games.

moycon #3 Posted February 16, 2009 Hmmm I would have to check through my current games. Sad story. At one time many many moons ago, when I would get an Atari game I would carefully remove the game and instructions and then pin the box up on my bedroom wall. I had 3 or 4 nice horizontal lines of mint Atari goodness right above me beside my bed. Unfortunately when I moved to GA in high-school....I chucked em all!!!! I'll be there was some interesting price-tags on those. I do know that the cheapest games I can recall buying myself were Defender, Firefly and Sorcerer at .99 apiece. shadow460 #4 Posted February 16, 2009 (edited) I've got a Barnstomring box with a $3 discount on the price. It sold for $22.95 after the discount. I have a Maze Craze box with a $24.something on the price tag. I also have two boxes with Monkey Ward shipping labels. Donkey Kong sold for $28, and Night Driver sold for $24.95. Most of my price tags are actually inside the boxes now, and I don't really care to dig them out. That's not even counting the slew of boxed Inty titles I have, but that's a different forum. Wait...yep! Got a cheap one. It's Space Invaders, and from what's left of the sticker, it looks like it went for $0.59. The others I have with tags on them are: Berzerk - $31.95 ($120 to $150 in today's dollars) Video Olympics - $18.00 (close to $100 in today's dollars) Games really aren't expensive today, now are they? pinball22 #6 Posted February 16, 2009 I got some stuff for like $0.50-$5 at Revco in the crash era... here's an Inty box from then with price tags (I've since sold this game on CtCW).

+Nathan Strum #8 Posted February 16, 2009 (edited) I don't think I ever got anything for 50¢. But I've got a few for $1.99 I think. What I like, are the ones that show a history of the prices, where you may have stickers starting at $30, and going all the way down to a dollar or two on the same box.
