COMBINE MULTIPLE SELLING POSTS!

Recommended Posts

Its currently getting a bit out of hand with 2 or 3 people monopolizing the Marketplace forums with 6 or more threads running at the same time. I realize that some of these threads weren't all started at the same time, but when a gang of 6-12 posts get bumped within seconds of each other, its rediculous. Sell multiple items in the same thread, or edit the post when necessary. :x :x :x

I agree...this is incredibly annoying. You should only be allowed one open sale thread at a time. Currently, the.golden.ax and phil_vr have multiple threads going just on the first page alone.

Although I've brought this up in the past (more than once) and there was never any action taken.

Since everyone wants me to just crawl under a rock...

Man, no one wants you to crawl under anything. You seem like a cool guy and you have a lot of good stuff for sale. But honestly, like half of the FS threads on the front page of the forum were yours. Put yourself in the shoes of someone else trying to sell something who can't keep their thread on the front page. Just make a "Golden Axe's Massive Sale Thread of Awesome" thread and list everything together, that's all. It's no big deal.

Take care,

Chris

In this case, I actually like individual threads. I hate picking through a massive thread of stuff that is gone/sold/notsomethingiwant only to find out that the thing I did want was on page 3 and spotted by someone else first.

Everyone relax. Its pretty a standard marketplace guideline/rule on most forum sites to combine your selling posts to one thread. If you sell an item, edit the post for a new item, or have it locked and start a new one. I understand the thought process of having multiple threads as the topic names can only be so many characters, but a half a dozen or more posts by one member is out of control.

Yeah me too. I happened to need the money. This was a recent thing, not typical.

I'm going to go sleep it off. Thanks xZanU for buying something.

The one I don't like is the 25 picture limit. But then, not everyone has highspeed.

Oooops.. sorry about multi-threads.. Actually I have a few of them gone already so I will try to combine the rest of them in one.

Some people have too many penguins.

Relax. Nobody hates you, nobody wants you to crawl under a rock, etc.

I wasn't attacking you two that I metioned in my earlier post...I was simply pointing it out as an example. You two happened to be the main offenders at that given moment...it could have been anybody. You're hardly the first person to do this. Everybody makes mistakes...just correct it and move on (as phil_vr did).

Currently, it's not an offical forum rule that each person have only one sale thread at a time...I was simply voicing my opinion (in agreement with doubledown) that it should be. I made no effort to attack you directly and I don't think I was out of line in any way in voicing this.
