Crazy New Retro-Style Game

Came across this crazy new retro-style game "JumpMan" this morning. Looks super-cool and it probably not the last we'll see in this awesome genre-

I like how it looks like a 2600 game maybe this could wind up on WiiWare.

That's brilliant! It gets challenging a few into the octagonal levels. Very nice gameplay. The character reminds me of an Intellivision guy.

wow the game is a lot of fun. nice that there are PC and Mac versions too. What language is it written in?

I played this more. I guess the octagon levels weren't hard. It depends on where you land in one of them... it can be hard or super easy. I'm actually stuck right now on the first level where you can't rotate the playfield. How to get past that minotaur!?! (or whatever it is). Great game! Highly recommended.

I love the low-resolution pixel guy, and the fact the next level "zooms in". very innovative.

Now we should see ports backward!! It's going to be interesting to see how the various older machines do this game. Some of them have enough CPU and GFX to do most of what is seen in this game. Lots of new ideas!
