MaXKiLLz #1 Posted February 24, 2009 Is there no way to adjust the SC1224 monitor so there isn't such a large border around the desktop and games? I know there's a V.Size on the back, but there is no H.Size. Is there something inside the SC1224 case that I can adjust?
+Mitch #2 Posted February 24, 2009 It's been a while but from what I remember there is an h-size pot on the board inside. At least on some models of the SC1224. Mitch

Mitch I believe I have the Goldstar version. I'll take the case off and take a look inside. Edited February 24, 2009 by MaXKiLLz
techie_alison #4 Posted February 24, 2009 (edited) Yes. It's quite possible but isn't as good as you think it'll be. Also rumoured to put the monitor under strain. You'll NEED a set of pot trimmer adjustment tools, or use wooden kebab skewers and fashion the end with a file. The proper trimmer tools are getting much harder to find with the demise of linear circuits and CRT displays. You musn't do it with a screwdriver. Not only does it conduct and interfere with the magnetic field, but it'll destroy the trimmer as they often use graphite slugs. Kebab skewer. Atari_Falcon #6 Posted February 25, 2009 Yes, I strongly recommend NOT USE any SCREWDRIVER. I killed those trimmers not so long ago... Now I have to open the case one day to repair Yes. oky2000 #7 Posted February 25, 2009 LOL and here's me thinking you are supposed to use proper non-conducting little screw drivers
