It depends on the plug-ins you're using. N64 emulators rely on plug-ins for video, sound, and control, kinda like ePSXe for the Playstation. Some games work better with certain plug-ins than others. Not to mention, my old computer was a Pentium 4 laptop with 1GB of memory and I was playing Conker all the time.
