+Psionic #2 Posted March 6, 2009 Now is not a particularly good time to buy this title. Expect to pay $$.
PapaCharlie #3 Posted March 6, 2009 Yeah, I saw the auction. I'm still upset for passing up a chance to buy it a few years ago at $120. It's a horrible game, and I'm a casual Atari collector - I'm mostly interested since I'm a fan of the movie. That being said, just because nobody makes me a realistic offer doesn't mean I don't want to hear what they're offering.

EricDeLee #12 Posted March 10, 2009 the crappy part of this... I don't own a real Halloween yet. About a month ago I was planning on going to Gibalter (spelling?) near my house. Then the wife wanted to sleep in a bit... and I joked around with her that all of the 'good [email protected]$t would be gone'. Some comedian said that once. I can't remember who. Anyway... when I got there I talked to a seller there and found out that he cleaned out a guy that had a few good carts in the 'garage sale section' One of them was a mint labeled version of Halloween. I asked when he got it... and he literally bought it 15 minutes before I showed up. Damn! That close! I still have not found anything in Michigan compared to my old Tulsa, OK flea market days. ballistik #13 Posted June 2, 2009 Actually, "Halloween" is a quite fun little game... Pixelated blood spurts, really SPOT ON Halloween theme music, it's so fun... lights flickering, buzzing out, hallways, kids running about as bait. lol. you can't go wrong! B Yeah, I saw the auction. I'm still upset for passing up a chance to buy it a few years ago at $120. It's a horrible game, and I'm a casual Atari collector - I'm mostly interested since I'm a fan of the movie. IHATETHEBEARS #14 Posted June 2, 2009 I think it's a decent game actually. I bought mine for $200.00 (cart only) off of Ebay about two months ago - maybe three.
Stan #15 Posted June 2, 2009 The prices on this REALLY fluctuate if you wait patiently. The last two auctions I saw went for around $500 and $700, but I just got mine for $180, which I was happy with considering how it's been looking. If you're patient, decide on a price you'd pay and play it safe (and sneaky).

Yet a few weeks earlier, the previous one had sold for over $400.00. I feel very lucky.
Stan #17 Posted June 2, 2009 I really don't understand the thinking of bidders sometimes. My favorite example is the board game Fireball Island. Granted, it's awesome, but for some reason it gets around $150-$200 complete almost all the time in spite of the fact there will be like 10 simultaneous complete auctions. Seriously, people, if you all just waited your turn and bid on one a week you could get it for like nothing.
Crazy Climber #18 Posted June 2, 2009 A few years from now Halloweens will be selling for $75-$125 on a regular basis. The game is not that rare, they are out there

mianrtcv #21 Posted June 3, 2009 (edited) Does this one count? Sounds like an adult game I have the dactar version myself. I did also end up getting a repro from the marketplace forum here (and a nice one at that). Edited June 3, 2009 by mianrtcv
