Artlover #26 Posted April 7, 2009 I spend $5 in 15 seconds when I walk into a bar and I know sure as shit I'm not going to have anything to show for it 15 minutes later Sure you do: A buzz and a bladder full of pee.
moycon #27 Posted April 8, 2009 I won't be getting either Flock or Galactrix anytime soon. Maybe when they go on the Deal of the Week but I'm done with the $15 and $20 games.
rxd #28 Posted April 8, 2009 These prices are absurd. They aren't getting any of my hard earned money. Has anyone else found this Days of Arcade to be a complete waste? I haven't bought a single game. During the Summer of Arcade I bought every game, even though I thought Braid was priced high.
MCHufnagel #29 Posted April 8, 2009 I did buy Penny Arcade Adventures EP 1 last night. It was on "sale" for 800 pts, so I bit. IMO though, 800 pts should have been the original price. Like most of the rest of you, I refuse to spend over 800 pts on anything.
Lord Helmet #30 Posted April 8, 2009 I won't be getting either Flock or Galactrix anytime soon. Maybe when they go on the Deal of the Week but I'm done with the $15 and $20 games. My thought's exactly. When you can get a game like Bioshock or Crackdown for 10-20 bucks....the expensive xbla games are a ripoff.

That game was one of the games that made me think twice about dropping $20 for an XBLA game, that and Braid. Don't get me wrong. They are both decent enough games... decent $10 games, not decent $20 games.
MCHufnagel #32 Posted April 8, 2009 It's funny you should mention PAA. That game was one of the games that made me think twice about dropping $20 for an XBLA game, I had never thought to spend more than $10 for DLC. As far as DLC is concerned, the big advantages are to the provider and not the consumer. At first I was angrier at the PA guys then I was at MS. I thought that they took unfair advantage of their rabid fanbase to release the first $20 XBLA game. But now all XBLA games start at $10 and go up from there. So now more of my anger is directed to MS for the pricing.
