Ian Primus #1 Posted March 12, 2009 I've been doing a fair amount of hardware hacking lately, playing with homemade cartridges. Unfortunately, I don't have much in the way of 'donor cartridges' for Atari 5200 or ColecoVision. I'm looking for junky commons, preferably with bad or missing labels, as long as the cartridge itself isn't badly damaged, it'll be fine. Thanks! -Ian

Thanks! -Ian Ian, I've got a Pac-Man and Galaxian I'll happily let you have for the cost of shipping, just PM me your zipcode and I'll give you a quote cheap as possible. pinball22 #3 Posted March 13, 2009 Do you want only first-party 5200 games? I've got a couple of loose-label Froggers to spare if not.
doubledown #4 Posted March 14, 2009 If you need ColecoVision cart casings (no pcbs) send a PM to pixelboy. He just had a bunch made up.

Why settle for donors when you can have brand new CV casings? Just send me a PM and let me know how many you need! They are 2.10$CAN each (about 1.65$US at current exchange rates). Ian Primus #6 Posted March 14, 2009 Indeed! Why settle for donors when you can have brand new CV casings? Because I need the boards too. For my one-off homemade stuff, I re-use the existing boards. I know, new boards are available, but they're much more expensive, and if I can do it myself, I will. But, I'll definitely keep you in mind if I ever make a large quantity of games. What do your cases look like, anyway? -Ian
Pixelboy #7 Posted March 14, 2009 But, I'll definitely keep you in mind if I ever make a large quantity of games. What do your cases look like, anyway? They are made with Eduardo Mello's metal mold that is normally used for Opcode games, only mine do not have the embossed Opcode logo on the back. I attached a picture below to demonstrate what the inside looks like. (I don't have any other available pic to show at the moment, sorry.)
