eyg2181 #26 Posted March 25, 2009 It would be great to see if someone could do a "Centipede Arcade" 2600 cart. I Have to agree with you on this one. The one on the 7800 was perfect. It would be great if someone could make the good version for the 2600. The same goesnfor dig dug. The 7800 version is great. And while were at it, how about galaga? With that being said, let's get these games ported
Kroko #27 Posted March 25, 2009 I just wanted to see what games you would like to see made for our favorite woodgrain buddy. JUMPMAN

It looks like you could put this on a cart: http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=78065

mcge0053 #31 Posted March 26, 2009 I think that the Activision "Nazi Zombies" would be great for the 2600 - And not too difficult to imagine as a top-down type of game, similar to Room of Doom. What about Oregon Trail?
pinball22 #32 Posted March 26, 2009 What about Oregon Trail? Ok, I was looking for a screenshot of what I always thought was the original Oregon Trail. Not the one you're all imagining, but an even older one, also on the Apple II, where hunting was less elaborate (just deer running across the screen), and you didn't have separate names for the people in your party. That's the version we had first when I was in middle school, and then came the standard one that all pics I can find are of. Anyone else remember the other version? I thought this was one of those 'updated' games on the FB II... I don't think the game is too bad though.
Godzilla #34 Posted March 27, 2009 I thought 2600 centipede and millipede were both pretty good as they were. I don't really know what else the 2600 could do in those games, aside from maybe gradienting the mushrooms if it the cycles for it...

Give the cannon a facelift to look more like the arcade, make the mushrooms look like mushrooms and put legs on the centipede. This may not even be possible, but I've been dazzled by what has been created in other carts.
