I just checked the scores for Pitstop on the Coleco: Pitstop Grand/Pro / Coleco 1. 318,000 Alan Hewston Pitstop Grand/Rookie / Coleco 1. 318,000 James Carter 2. 53,000 Stephen Knox Pitstop Grand/Semi-Pro / Coleco 1. 318,000 Alan Hewston 2. 267,000 Stephen Knox 3. 53,000 Ron Corcoran :ponder: [email protected] / [email protected]? Cybergoth #6 Posted September 20, 2002 Ok, what is the problem? What am I missing? First, there is 6 disciplines listed, when the game only has 4. Then, both the disciplines "Footbag" & "Hacky Sack", which in my eyes should refer to one and the same discipline, feature each a high score from Ron Corcoran. Now, if that wasn't strange enough having two different names for the same discipline, how can one and the same guy submit scores for each? Different scores BTW... ?!? Thomas Jentzsch #7 Posted September 20, 2002 Those Pitstop scores look like some database corruption to me.

Greetings, Manuel This is a problem from the import of Steve Knox's database into the TG database. Yes, we are well aware of SEVERAL issues and problems with the database. We are currently in the process of re-architecting the whole site to include the database, so please bear with us and our mess. Thanks,

Please consider my post just a bug-report, not an attack I'm currently in the process of recreating the Scores page on the Epyx Shrine. due the lack of score submissions I decided to give-up on recording them on my own, but rather just sort of mirror the current TG scores for the Epyx games and send people your way. The only thing I'm currently concerned about his how I can keep my page updated without checking the complete TG database every week... You don't offer customized displays or something like that, which people could merge into their hompages? Greetings, Manuel

At this time, our dBase is very limited in functionality. We are working on that, but it'll take some time. As for bug reports, the more the better. We have been working for 2+ years trying to squash as many as we can. But, as you have noticed, we miss a few from time to time. We ask that if anyone find a bug in the site or dBase to please let us know so we can fix it. Thanks for the feedback.
RCorcoran #11 Posted September 21, 2002 I have removed the offending scores for California Games and will submit a request to our DBA to have the tracks themselves ("Hackey Sack" & "Skating") removed from the dBase. Thanks again for the heads-up!
