Fallout 3: The Pitt

I can't even go a full week onto another game without being reeled back into the wasteland. Bought The Pitt for F3, and am very much enjoying it. I'm into the beginning parts and right now trying to get 10 ingots. It's a bit challenging as all your items are taken away in the early stages. Whacho think?

I can't wait to download The Pitt... looks good! So is this expansion involve your main character like the previous expansion or is it for a totally new character? I know the level cap isn't increased in this one (that's next month) but I wouldn't mind earning some more XP in the Pitt. :)

PS(Just became a father so gaming is taking a back seat... heck I need to hook up my 360 as I moved it to make room for the little guy)

Love the Pitt.

Even better than Operation: Anchorage.

Dominated the Trogs so the campaign wasn't much of a problem. My allegience went to Ashur and not to Wehner and the slave rebellion.

Maybe one day I'll see it in my heart to sink down to Wehrner's level. I may be the 'Scourge of the Wasteland'....but I'm no baby-killer.

I liked this better than Operation Anchorage as well. It feels a lot more connected to the main storylines of Fallout 3, and had more spice than a clear-cut military campaign. Sure, no companions.. BTW MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD.

I also sided with Ashur's cause. My suspicions were 100% dead-on when I realized his armor was in fact some really run-down Brotherhood of Steel armor. That now makes 2 BoS people that have gone on to do their own spinoff adventures. I lost a bit of karma on having no choice but to fight a few wayward slaves, but I'm still in "good" range.

The Pit fights were funny. I killed off the opponents within 5 seconds. Even got a sneak attack on the last guy. My new fave gun is the Infiltrator. How long did it take to put a good scope on an assault rifle.

However, I did lose all of my alien blaster ammo. I tried to drop all my items before the gate closed, and I was able to get some back. My footlocker had no trace of the alien blaster ammo. The game wasn't clear about where you get your stuff back. But I was so far into things, I had fully repaired guns/armor & a good share of other misc' supplies to take on the Trogs. I'm about halfway to finding all the ingots.
