Classic Pac
My brother and I were talking today about the great coin-op games we have both seen over the years. Frankly neither one of us have the cash or let alone the space to buy one. Like the rest of you I play my arcade fav on my gaming console or computer. So I ask you, If money was no object, and you had the space which arcade coin-op would you buy? Mine would be Baby Pac that crazy combo video and pinball game
Ransom
It would probably end up being Galaga, since both my wife and I really like that game. But if I were just buying for myself, it would probably be Rally X. I haven't found anything like it for any of the consoles I own, so having the real thing would be cool. accousticguitar
Tempest. No port has ever come close to the arcade experience. Joystick controllers? That's just frustrating and not fun with Tempest.
Catsmasher
Tempest. No port has ever come close to the arcade experience. Joystick controllers? That's just frustrating and not fun with Tempest. I got a MAME machine and specifically had a spinner knob installed. Tempest is just like I remember it! It is a total blast. You can only get that standing up and spinning that slick, smooth metal spinner! I guess if I could have only one dedicated machine, it would proabably be Centipede. I used to think Galaga was my favorite game, but I find myself playing Centipede more often than anything else. That "charge" sound it makes when you get a free guy just makes your day when you hear it! Keep Playing! Rob

Atariman
I may be crazy for this, but I've always wanted a Q*Bert's Qubes machine. That game is fun If I couldn't get that, I suppose I wouldn't mind two good sit down racing cabs (maybe SF Rush or something along those lines) linked together for some head to head racing! Keatah
*if* i was gonna buy an arcade game, which I am not, I would buy Tempest, Tac-Scan, Gyruss, and EarthFriendMission.

It and Millipede would run a close second to Tempest. Actually, it would probably come down to which one I could get cheaper.

cougar302b
First and foremost, Thayers Quest, if I could get one that actually had all five kingdoms. Second, I would have to go with Pac-Man one of the ones I don't have that I REALLY want. Third, Super Don Quixote.
keilbaca
A Black Knight 2000 pinball machine, no questions asked. Well ok, maybe a BS Dracula. I blew it the hell up today. 1.5 billion, got all 3 multiballs going, trapped a ball and just cycled the castle ramp. Nothing like Dracula moaning out, THIRTYYYYYYYYYYYYYY MILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLION! VideoFever1982
I would love to have one of those Ms. Pacman/Galaga ones! Galaga for me, Ms. Pacman for everyone else I'd probably go with an original Galaga and an original Ms. Pac-Man seeing as the combined one is not vintage like the others but a 25th anniversary edition. What part of Pennsylvania are you from Ryanw?
