Stuck on B.C'S Quest for Tires

Recommended Posts

In my Colecovision phase,i decided to play B.C'S Quest For Tires. There's one part thats driving me crazy, :? and i dont remember how to do it.Its the part were you're going downhill really fast as you must gather up speed to jump the cliff.I ALWAYS slam into the side of the cliff.I got game loose without the instructions. So i looked online and the instructions say to have enough speed and B.C must be balanced right to make jump.I have all the speed, but how to you know or make B.C perfectly balanced, the instructions dont say.I tried moving stik various ways,to make him balanced, nothing works,or maybe my stock CV stik doesnt work right?I did a search here at AA 1st and didnt find anything on the matter.Any suggestions?id just love to see whats next in game, thanx!

I thought you had to grab onto a bird to make that jump? That's how it worked in the Atari version anyway.

BC was made for the Atari 8-bit computers and Apple II at least. I think there's also a version for the C-64.

Here's a video of someone playing through the c64 version.

Maybe you can watch up to that part you are stuck at and figure out how they are getting past it.
