iwan-iwanowitsch-goratschin #2 Posted April 2, 2009 :D I like these bats............! You can never own enough of them!
lapetino #3 Posted April 2, 2009 Ummm, where the heck is Pete Rose Baseball?! By far the best looking baseball game for the 2600. The gameplay is pretty fun as well. Ranks #2 in baseball games. But for me, it still comes down to Super Challenge Baseball by M-Network. SO fun! Love the pitch control! Always a crowd-pleaser when I bust it out. And what's up with that Yankee game? Can't say I'm a fan of that business. (Go Cubs.)
Red 5 #4 Posted April 2, 2009 Totally forgot to the Pete Rose cart. CRAP! ... have to change everything... grumble grumble.... The Yankeemania is a hack of Megamania I made a while back. And the Cubbies are great with me... love 'em ... unless they're playing the Yankees... Soriano and Lou? What's a Yankee fan not to love?
phaxda #5 Posted April 2, 2009 I know this is in the 2600 section, but I have always been a fan of the 5200s real sports baseball. The swinging stick is fun. My true favorite, though, is Intellivision baseball!
+Nathan Strum #6 Posted April 2, 2009 M-Network, all the way. (Too bad it didn't have AI though...)
BassGuitari #8 Posted April 3, 2009 Baseball / Home Run.
TwiliteZoner #9 Posted April 3, 2009 (edited) Baseball / Home Run. For all its faults Home Run was not that bad. As far as any Atari goes, it has to be Star League Baseball for the 8bit. Best Baseball game in my opinion. Let's Go Phillies! Edited April 3, 2009 by TwiliteZoner

Jason73 #12 Posted April 6, 2009 Baseball for the 2600 and summer equals perfection M Network Super Challenge Baseball is my favorite. It really is a great game. One of the only Atari games that my dad would actually play with me when I was a kid.
Gregory DG #13 Posted April 6, 2009 Here's my article on Atari at the Ballpark... Pete Rose is definitely my fave. Especially after you get used to the outfielder selection. I play it all the time on my DS from the GBA Activision Anthology cart.
cvga #14 Posted April 6, 2009 Here's my article on Atari at the Ballpark... Pete Rose is definitely my fave. Especially after you get used to the outfielder selection. I play it all the time on my DS from the GBA Activision Anthology cart. I didn't realize that it was on the GBA Activision Anthology. I have one of those around here somewhere. I played Pete Rose on the 7800 tonight. I hated it at first but once I got more familiar with the controls, I really started enjoying it. I'm going to try and hit the 2600 baseball games over the next week or two.

Red 5 #16 Posted April 6, 2009 M Network is 2 player only. However, it is really brilliant. Full control over pitches and simple defense. Up to throw to second, right to first, etc. Double plays were even possible thanks to the easy controls. My brother and I played the hell out of this game. Deteacher #17 Posted April 6, 2009 After reading this thread, I realized I never tried Pete Rose Baseball. So, I fired it up in Stella and played a couple innings. I'm very impressed with the gameplay. I like it a lot!

roadrunner #25 Posted April 10, 2009 I have Pete Rose Baseball for the 7800, the ball could be right in front of the 3rd baseman but he can't pick it up because the ball is not in his zone. My pitcher has to go all the way to 3rd to pick the ball up
