Chickybaby
I'm sorry that happened. It's a shame to see classic stuff ruined. Just curious but did you ask them to pack in a box before you bid? Did you neg the seller? I've requested a partial refund and I'm waiting to hear back fom the seller first. The best they're getting is a neutral at this point, with a negative very likely. This is actually the second crushed box in the past week or so. The first was a CIB ColecoVision game sent in a flimsy box from Canada. The outer box was crushed flat, so I didn't even open the package...I refused it and it was returned to the seller. I'm waiting for a full refund on that one. +Psionic
Just curious but did you ask them to pack in a box before you bid? I usually include a message with payment, but I honestly don't remember if I did or not. As I said, I bought a boxed game from the seller just a few weeks ago and that was shipped in a sturdy box, so I had no reason to assume that wouldn't be the case this time. Here's the auction I won on March 21... eBay Auction -- Item Number: 120395513227 $15 BIN w/ free shipping...that was sent to me in a box (I think they may have even sent it Priority). Here's the one I received yesterday... eBay Auction -- Item Number: 120402289744 $26 plus $6 shipping...sent via First Class in a bubble envelope. The item also is in considerably worse shape than it appears. In addition to the crushing that occurred during shipping (which has put permanent creases and bulges in both sides), the box has rips/holes and some scores written in ballpoint pen on the back of the box. The joystick holder is missing, which I knew already when I bid. I've requested $15 of my money back ($5 for the overcharging on shipping, $10 for the damage). You got bubbles? NO FAIR! Received a CIB Jag game in the mail yesterday in a plain manilla envelope.
