homerwannabee
Have you thought that Quadrun was way, way, way too expensive, even after all these years, and it's steep decline? Well here is the Quadrun for you! Given the label condition on this sucker I would really be surprised if this thing hits $75. By far the worst looking Quadrun I have ever seen in all my years of Ebay, or on these boards. I do not own this Quadrun, or any Quadrun for that matter. http://cgi.ebay.com/Quadrun-Atari-2600-Car...%3A1|240%3A1318 Edited April 9, 2009 by homerwannabee

Albert
Wow, those silver labels are nigh indestructible (at least compared to most labels). Impressive to see one in this condition.. ..Al

mister_pal
I love the part where he says the condition is "acceptable". Unless you tend to use your 2600 games as sandpaper I would doubt that.

phaxda
Wow. Not sure whether to shed a tear for it or bid on it. Back in the pre-Cuttle Cart days, I probably would have been all over this one as a way to just get to play the game on original hardware. Now I am not so sure. Still kinda tempted. I have a Raiders of the Lost Ark I just got in a lot in about the same condition. Takes some effort for sure!
Reaperman
well I guess somebody could buy it and relist it without a picture, vaguely mentioning "label damage" or just make a repro label for it and enjoy it as quadrun... edit: well, I guess I'm in on this auction. let's see where this goes Edited April 9, 2009 by Reaperman
Crazy Climber
Looks like it went through the washing machine.
the.golden.ax
A great example of a cart in need of reproduction artwork. I'm okay with reproduction art on a genuine cart. I'm going to watch this one. I'd love to give it my first try at Red Box make-over's for legit games. AX
Dino
Its Eskobar's... maybe he knows what its been through. I always wonder why it is that so many of these carts that came from Mexico have bad labels?
shadow460
I'm tempted as well. It is nothing a laminated label and a clean cart shell cannot fix, and one excellent way to own a rare game on the cheap.
keilbaca
Here's your chance to get a quadrun to go after mine and doug's record, being it'll be so cheap :-p
crunchysuperman
Wow, who knew you could use Quadrun as a scouring pad?
video game addict
I bet a little WD40 would help bring the label back. It's over $30!
Albert
Looks like it went through the washing machine. The washing machine would probably do nothing to these labels. In attempts to discover ways of easily removing silver labels from carts, I've let them set in water a week and after they dry they still look almost new (only along the very edges could you tell that something nefarious may have taken place). ..Al

Headfamily
If the label looks like that, wonder what the rest of the case looks like. This is one of the few games I still need that I'm really looking for.

Not sure I'd do it alone, though, as it will clang around in there quite a bit (although maybe not, if its sitting on the floor of the machine and doesn't hit the agitator). ..Al

Ian Primus
Yeesh. Maybe someone left it outside in the late 80's and just now found it again... Actually, it looks more like it went through the dishwasher. That would be another thing to try. Maybe I'll throw a copy of E.T. in the dishwasher and see what happens to it... But, it IS Quadrun. If the label is in that bad a shape, I wonder what the board looks like. -Ian
Kripto
It looks like it was dug out of a garbage dump. It's pretty hard to think of any other common situations that could lead to that kind of damage (Shuttle launch pad? ). Wow.

I can see it happening. Myself I would ever let something like that happen to anything I personally own as I respect my toys and always have.
