Ite #1 Posted April 9, 2009 Got three games off Ebay. What would everyone rate these games?
BDW #2 Posted April 9, 2009 Ghostbusters is an okay game, but I haven't played the other two. They look fairly interesting though
IHATETHEBEARS #3 Posted April 9, 2009 The Smurf game is fun. Ghostbusters is one I never spent any time trying to really figure it out. But it seemed fun as well. As for Miner 2049'er... there's no kind way to say it. It sucks! The gameplay is awful. Your character moves at a snail's pace. If you die, you have to do the entire board again. And it's nearly impossible to jump over the bad guys.
shadow460 #4 Posted April 10, 2009 Miner is actually pretty good once you get the hang of it. It's not hard at all. You have to jump partway through the bad guys. Get used to that and it's a cake walk.
Ite #5 Posted April 10, 2009 Finally got home from work, about to try these games after Impact!
jboypacman #6 Posted April 10, 2009 I have all three of these and here is my take on them..... Ghostbusters:Never was a huge fan of this game but its not terrible. Miner 2049er: Its ok not as good as the other versions of the game(5200,Colecovision,ect). Smurf: Of the games mentioned this is my favorite of the three...Fun to play and looks pretty decent on the 2600. Good buys for you i feel you will enjoy them let us know how you like(or maybe don't like)them.

I played it after the C-64 version is probably why. Ghostbusters was another GREAT c-64 game not so sure about the 2600 version. Smurfs I always liked. There was a a lot crammed into that game I always felt and it looked great for a 2600 game.
Ite #9 Posted April 10, 2009 Gotta say I like Smurf the best!
cvga #10 Posted April 10, 2009 I haven't played enough Ghostbusters to give an opinion. Smurfs is the best of the 3 games you purchased. Solid gameplay with good graphics. I wanted Miner 2049er extremely bad about 25 or so years ago. It was game of the year for multiple platforms and I had read excellent reviews about it. I got sick and had to stay home from school a few days. My mom bought the game and brought it home for me to play. I wish I could say it helped me feel better but it didn't. I was extremely disappointed with the game. I haven't played it since way back then so maybe I'd like it more today. I would have enjoyed it had it not seemed like I was continuously stuck in slow motion.

Seriously never even heard of the game till I bidded in this auction.
