Bought mine at a local Game Xchange store, found it in the Employees Only section, and they told me it was untested and considered non-working. Took it home and replaced the two controller ports and fixed the color adjustments-- the unit plays perfectly now. I have the speaker grills in my console and the channel select switch. Region: NTSC Manufacturer: Taiwan: Dimerco Speaker Slits: Yes A/B Channel select: Yes, hole and switch (switch is way up in there, reachable with a screwdriver, not a finger) Serial: 884677-T Date on inside label: 31, OCT, 1980 HALLOWEEN! Needed select switch, voltage regulator, resoldered power socket and ribbon wire, and repaired 2 traces+ a short from bad previous repair attempts. It will live again as the person who bought parts from it wants the rest of it now since it was apparently a factory test system at one time. So I'll be parting a different one as well soon enough.
