Best bonus stage/bonus stage music EVER?

I decided do do a thread on what you think the best bonus stages and bonus stage music is. You should list at least one stage and one tune.

 

My favorite bonus stages:

 

- Those skydiving ones in Robbit Mon Dieu where you have to fall through all the hoops

- The ones in Cool Spot where you're in a giant 7up bottle (mainly for the music)

- The one in Space Station Silicon Valley for the N64 where you're a dog/biplane hybrid who has to fly through rings and shoot other biplane dogs

 

My favorite Bonus stage music

 

- Sonic CD Special Stage JP/EU (I just can't get enough of it)

- Pandemonium 2 (PSX/PC)

- Cool Spot (Sega Genesis version)

Best bonus stage music:

Weapons of Hope from stage 8 of Raiden II. I know it's played earlier in the game, but that has to be one of the best video game tunes I have ever heard. If you could strip away the gameplay sounds you'd hear that it is actually a pretty complex tune with many runs up and down the keyboard.

 

Not sure what the actual best bonus stage is, but it's certainly nice to skip Jagurandi in Virtual On: Operation Moongate. This is done by finishing several stages in rapid succession.

The best ever is any of the ones from Galaga '90. They're all great sounding, show a bit of humor, give you a nice change of pace, and are reasonably difficult.
