Is there an adapter so a PC Engine controller will work on a US Turbografx

Recommended Posts

The PC Engine and Duo use the same controllers, but the TG-16 has a different (much larger) connector. I don't believe there's an adapter to use PCE/Duo controllers on a TG-16 unit.

The question is...why bother? It's not like TG-16 controllers are hard to acquire.

Yes but I wanted to get this controller specifically. https://www.risingstuff.com/store/engine-co...ter-p-2585.html

I mean if anybody could link me to where I can get a "Mini Din female to 8-pin Din male" then I would appreciate that.

On some controllers (but not all) you can simply swap out the cords, as pictured in this video around 4:30 to 5:40...

I was just going to say the same thing PBJ about the cord swaps and again i think this is only with certain controllers.

I'd like to have the exact opposite. I have a TG16 "turbo stick" that I would love to be able to use with my PC Engine Duo.
