Digitized speech Tempest Extreem

Tempest Extreem is really a outstanding game, but I can't understand what it says right at the beginning.

 

Television.....?

 

Could anybody explain?

Explain?

It was used in Tempest 2000 on the Jaguar.

 

No idea if it's some common saying from a modern-day pop philosopher - maybe Elvis first said it?

 

Actually, if the saying was conceived some time in the last 20 years "Rectum of the mind's eye" would have been a more accurate description of TV.

It appears a similar line was used in the movie Videodrome back in 1983.
