nathanallan #1 Posted April 20, 2009 I made a video showing us off I do mods and repairs and can order pretty much anything. Right now the modding services are limited (there's no end to learning, really) but growing each day. We have in-house demos, playing till your thumbs bleed (just for fun in-house playing), and more things coming soon. So if you're ever in the El Paso area swing by, if nothing just to hang out. This is a shameless plug LINK to youtube video I'll tell you guys, running a store is no joke. As just somebody that loves gaming it's a whole new dimension to the hobby. My main thing is computer repair and game modding, and I keep things on-hand because there HAS to be a fun aspect to it all or I'd go crazy. I guess in time you will get used to the whole managing thing and build from experience.

nathanallan #4 Posted April 20, 2009 Cool things come in small packages, but I admit it's no huge store. Like I said in the vid, it's a HUGE and strenuous undertaking. As for the market here, all there is is Gamestop and Game Crazy-- not a thing classic and as far as I can tell no other computer people will touch a video game. STG, thanks for the vote of confidence!

+Random Terrain #9 Posted April 20, 2009 Looks Like the kinda shop, I would love to hang out, and shoot the shit in. "Excuse me, I'd like to buy this." "In a minute, we're shooting the shit." "I've already been waiting 20 minutes." "It won't kill you to wait another 20." "Well, at least point one of those guns you're shooting the shit with at my head and put me out of my misery." nathanallan #12 Posted April 20, 2009 Working on a homebrew handheld, that'll most likely be the next topic of recording. It's nice to have support like this. There are a lot of people who want me to fail believe it or not. I'll keep the vids coming!

Just ignore them and keep trying, always. I checked out a video you did of some shelving and a Genesis with a blue led. Nice. I think i posted a comment there as well.. Keep it up!! Heck, i'd ask for more on the phat PS2's myself as they were just made better. I never did like the flimsy top loading model. Yea, I had a slim and a phat, and I like the Phat better. My philosophy is the bigger, the cooler . Makes you feel like you get your money's worth. I ended up getting rid of my slim when I got my Test PS2. I had, stupidly, sold my original PS2 phat, but given it was an early model, it probably wouldn't have lasted me. I don't think there's a limit to what I'd pay, let's just say that. Especially if it had the cart slot, or was region free.

DaytonaUSA #24 Posted April 20, 2009 I'll end the long quote block lol. Wow, out of all the saturn games I have, you just reminded me I never did get a Christmas Nights. I was able to get a brand new Nights that had the bigger box and the 3D controller though

I was able to get a brand new Nights that had the bigger box and the 3D controller though OOps. I try to keep em short if i can remember. I would like to get the big box one myself again but i do have the 3D controller which is nice. It's people like nathanallen here that keep this stuff alive. If i ever get out to travel again, i'd like to check out his shop. I used to go down to Dallas/Fort Worth and Houston alot with my friend Mike from The Game Room and we'd always hit the auctions they would have down that way for video store closeouts. We'd leave with about $10,000 and come back with a van full of games and hardware. Boy were those the days.
