VectorGamer #1 Posted April 20, 2009 I own an Atari 2600, 5200, 7800, C64 and Colecovision. Having not begun collecting for the C64 yet as I am currently working on my Colecovision, 7800 and 5200 library, I have found the Colecovision to be the ultimate classic arcade home console. Having said that, I am hungry for new classic titles for the Colecovision that I would like to see developed. Here's a few off of the top of my head and I hope to see other members post as well. Galaga (if done correctly, this would be the ultimate Colecovision port!) Asteroids Millipede Stratovox Berzerk Dig Dug Stargate Mario Bros. Phoenix Rampage

+Psionic #3 Posted April 20, 2009 Dig Dug Atarisoft did that one. The game was never released, but it's basically complete and quite good. Albert was selling cartridges of this at one point...you can send him a PM and perhaps he can help you out. Mario Bros. That's apparently been done already. http://www.colecovision.dk/coll-mario.htm Galaga (if done correctly, this would be the ultimate Colecovision port!)Millipede Berzerk Stargate Well, we already have Galaxian, Centipede, Frenzy and Defender. I suppose those could be hacked or further developed into those titles you listed, but personally I think I'd rather see homebrew programmers dedicating time to developing original games or doing ports of unique games. I'm with you on Berzerk, Stargate and Millipede, but although Galaga is essentially "Galaxian II," the differences between the two are significant enough to warrant its own cart. DaytonaUSA #9 Posted April 20, 2009 It could be for the CV, or ANY system, seriously. But the game, the only game, I'd ever want to play again that I can't play on a classic game machine: Lunar Lander If you port that game, I'd give you a very hefty sum and buy a system to play it on, if I don't already own it. Ok, how much is a Flashback 2? eBay has some for up to $25 I wouldn't pay anything more than that as you will see a whole bunch of them cheaper. Lunar Lander is on the Flashback 2 as I suspected (I own one but hardly use it anymore since I have the real thing).

Pixelboy #19 Posted April 21, 2009 Woo-hoo! A chance to bring out my old ColecoVision mockups! So what you can see in the image attached below are: - Crystal Castles (perfect for Roller Controller!) - Dig Dug (I humbly prefer my graphics over the existing CV prototype) - Kangaroo - Nibbler - Asteroids - Pengo - Utopia Actually, I made the Pengo mockup tonight, just for the occasion. Others I would love to see on the ColecoVision: Arcade: - 1942 - Arabian - Discs of Tron - Elevator Action - Kung-Fu Master - Missile Command (another good one for the Roller Controller) - Moon Cresta - Pooyan - Solomon's Key - Tron - Vanguard - Wizard of Wor - Xevious Atari 2600 conversions (with improved graphics): - Adventure - Combat - Enduro - Frostbite - Haunted House - Megamania - Plaque Attack - Pressure Cooker - Robot Tank - Solaris - Space Shuttle - A Journey Into Space (exists on MSX!) - Starmaster - Star Wars - The Empire Strikes Back - Superman - SwordQuest - Yar's Revenge Odyssey2 conversions: - K.C. Munchkin - Pick Axe Pete - Quest for the Rings Some other ideas: - Head Over Heels (could be ported from MSX version) - E.T. (not a port of the Atari 2600 version, but something similar) - H.E.R.O. 2 (I never could figure out why Activision didn't cash in on a sequel) - Pitfall III - Close Encounters of the Prehistoric Kind - Super Action Hockey (about the only sports game I could ever tolerate on the CV) - Venture II (the original was way too short)
