shadow460 Posted January 12, 2013 Share Posted January 12, 2013 I musta picked up my copy right after I posted in this thread. I agree with the Video Game Critic--it's average. It's easy to lose Laser Gates in the glut of side scrolling shooters of that era. I guess the closest comparison is Flash Gordon, but the lower half of the screen in that game is actually useful. Shinju Posted January 15, 2013 Share Posted January 15, 2013 My copy of Laser Gates is dead, It will not boot up no matter how much I clean it or what system I try it on. I had this as a kid back in the day it was a blast to play then and it still it today. There is an Atari computer version with better graphics. Sleeper hit for sure, but all iMagic games were pretty top quality sad that they were short lived after the new gen systems came to light I would have loved to see what they could have done with the NES platform.
