DaytonaUSA #1 Posted April 23, 2009 (edited) Hey guys, up for sale is a toaster style NES. It's in very good condition, just has a few scratches on it and a couple scuffs which my new, better camera should be able to pick up, but all very minor. It has NO yellowing, which is the most important thing for me when I get a classic system. New 72 pin connector just installed tonight!!!! It comes with two controllers. One is much nicer than the other, but both work just fine. It comes with the RF adapter and power adapter. Games included are carts only: Pinball Heavy Shreddin' Top Gun Double Dribble Mario/Duck Hunt I'm asking 40 plus shipping for her, which is much less than what I paid for the system, games and new 72 pin. To avoid confusion, the only "dibs" I will recognize is by PM so I don't have to go comparing time stamps of posts vs PMs. First come first serve. Thanks guys! DaytonaUSA #2 Posted April 23, 2009 Am willing to trade for Virtual Boy games. I already have 3D Tetris and Mario Clash. Anything else I'd be interested in, especially Wario Land and Panic Bomber.
IceCold #3 Posted April 23, 2009 *bump* PM sent, but it wasn't a 'dibs' pm, just some questions.

GOTHCLAWZ #5 Posted April 23, 2009 Please explain to me what you mean by 'New72 Pin' is that what connects the game to the motherboard?
DaytonaUSA #6 Posted April 23, 2009 (edited) Please explain to me what you mean by 'New72 Pin' is that what connects the game to the motherboard? Correctomundo. . It's a new one from Ebay. All you do is open the nes, take off the shield that covers the board, and loosen the screws to the motherboard, which will allow you to shimmy the old 72 pin connector off. Just put this on instead (think cart, just slips on) and walla, no more blinking on games. There's plenty of tutorials online. Just looking up a google search for nes 72 pin connector install or something . The new connector is pictured, just came in the mail . EDIT: Just installed it tonight, snug as a bug, and working without the case of the blinks Edited April 24, 2009 by DaytonaUSA

If it's so easy and only takes 5 minutes you should just install it I would be interested in it then.

I was just going the easy route I'll go get the ol' screw driver out and update here when it'd done. Edited April 23, 2009 by DaytonaUSA
DaytonaUSA #9 Posted April 24, 2009 All complete. Unit now has the new chip installed and beautifully working . As you can see it here, playing Bionic Commander before I put the shield and cover back on:
