I do this over Atari800Win Plus 4.0 and it works NRV (hmm machine type XL/XE, 64k, NTSC, basic off.. should work)
pseudografx
Yes.. that's real here (with some more graphics): tdemo.zip only restriction is that you can use all the colors only in the play area.. the original thread: http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?s...=136584&hl= NRV NRV, Can you please tell me how to actually load this file? I tried loading the file using Kboot and MyDos with Atari800Win - OS/B and OS/XL modes. But, I must be doing something wrong because it's still not working. Rename the file to *.xex, then it should work fine.

+Larry
Hope to find some nice new Tetris versions from this thread. Fortress has always been my favorite -- love that catchy background music. I haven't played the game for years, but I can still here the tune "playing in my head." -Larry
+therealbountybob
Has anyone played Vioris and sussed out how to get this to change level It's in the top 100 games by rating and one of the pictures shows a load of filled-in rows if that's a clue. Otherwise the game seems too easy and never gets of level 0.

Gregory DG
I think it was Fortress I used to play a lot. Isn't there a multiplayer Tetris clone for the 8-bit though?

Ataritris II is excellent for two player head-to-head... as is Dredis; also there is multris for the multijoy (4 player simultaneous - not sure if this'll support 4 standard joysticks on the 800... anyone )
supercat
only restriction is that you can use all the colors only in the play area.. Cute technique. Uses the four player/missile combos as four 10-bit sprites, with colors of $10, $20, $40, and $80 so as to add chroma to a background which is drawn in a four-color mode using e.g. colors $00, $05, $0A, and $0F? Cute concept, allowing all 16 chroma colors to be drawn arbitrarily.
