GOTHCLAWZ #1 Posted April 26, 2009 (edited) I'd have thought that there would be a market for them somewhere... Edited May 1, 2009 by GOTHCLAWZ
+Psionic #2 Posted April 26, 2009 Where are customized consoles soled? Try here, although I don't know if they'll do consoles.
GOTHCLAWZ #3 Posted April 26, 2009 (edited) Where are customized consoles soled? Try here, although I don't know if they'll do consoles. My SNES doesn't have feet so I don't see why it would need shoes. It would only assist in it's escape from my room. +remowilliams #5 Posted April 26, 2009 Oh, how that reminds me of one inventors touching story... An inventor developed a pair of artificially intelligent shoes to take him where he wanted to go while he focused his mind on other inventions. The shoes did the walking for him, taking him to work and home and the grocery store while he thought about other things. One day, however, the shoes developed self-awareness and ran away, presumably deciding to see the rest of the world. They stole the inventor's car - one shoe worked the gas pedal, the other the brake - and off they went. Sadly, they couldn't steer, and they lost control of the car. When the inventor found them, they were smashed beyond all recognition by the car crash they'd got themselves into. Their electronic lives were no more. Still, the inventor took solace in the knowledge that they were now in Heaven. He knew this for certain, because shoes have soles.

From the looks of his avatar, he stopped crying in the dark and cutting himself just long enough to start this topic. And depending on how much of a workhorse your console is, you might try talking to a farrier... Chris
GOTHCLAWZ #8 Posted April 26, 2009 Stay on topic please.
CGQuarterly #9 Posted April 26, 2009 I did stay on topic. I suggested a farrier. Having your console soled is a good idea, as it will help it run better. Chris

Wickeycolumbus #11 Posted April 26, 2009 Stay on topic please. You should probably re-read the title of your thread
IceCold #12 Posted April 27, 2009 I'll be a nice guy and try to help you out Gothclawz.(and i'll even ignore your typo in the title that everybody keeps referring to ). Anyways, this is probably your best bet. He can modify consoles to your liking. I don't know of anywhere that sells 'pre modified' consoles(as far as like painted consoles, etc. etc.). What particularly are you looking for?
Shawn #13 Posted April 27, 2009 (edited) Stay on topic please. You get a haircut and I'll stay on topic. Until then your topic will be janked for your soleds. I do mods but not for kids with a head on them like that. Your parental unit(s) should slap you one for being so foolish and screaming for attention in such an ugly manor. nathanallan #14 Posted April 27, 2009 Lots of folks will mod your consoles for you, but I haven't seen any real outrageous mods for sale anywhere. I do mods, and there's a lot of time and effort that goes into them. Even the ones that are just for looks and don't improve functionality take time and effort. When it's done, there's the chance that it may not sell at all, so I don't do them without some kind of security that I will actually sell it when it does get finished. If I had a disposable income then I would do mods and set them on a shelf to wait for somebody to buy them. Till then it's by demand only. Good luck finding what you are looking for. pinball22 #15 Posted April 27, 2009 Check ebay... there are occasionally already-customized consoles for sale. There's one guy who's a professional painter and does them with car paint... they look really sharp.
brojamfootball #16 Posted April 28, 2009 (edited) From the looks of his avatar, he stopped crying in the dark and cutting himself just long enough to start this topic. ROFL Reminds me of a goth character in a comic strip made by a friend of mine years ago, all about young college students trying to be hip and find their own image. Here's a quote: "Tried to kill myself last night...pretty cool, huh?" But seriously, let's give this kid a break, badass eye-obscuring hairdo and all. I'll further what others have said about modded consoles rarely being seen for sale. I see modded stuff for sale some at www.benheck.com forums, but those are mostly custom portables. You might follow some links from there. Edited April 28, 2009 by brojamfootball
