xg4bx #10 Posted April 27, 2009 texas chainsaw massacre, handwritten label. xenophobe for the 7800. frankenstein's monster for the 2600. i don't know about the rarity in terms of scale but they're the games ive paid the most for (outside of homebrews) so far. i collect for fun so i won't pay more than $50 or $60 for a game. if i keep the expenditure in line with the cost of modern games it doesn't feel like a financial investment to me. IHATETHEBEARS #11 Posted April 27, 2009 I own 18 rarity 9 games. And most of them suck. I do like Rescue Terra I though. Swordquest Waterworld isn't too horrible. And Malagai isn't bad either. Tooth Protectors has a little charm to it. But beyond that, the quality/money spent ratio is pretty bad.
Zoyx #12 Posted April 27, 2009 My two rare ones are Survival Island and Sword of Saros, both cassettes for the Supercharger. Graded at 8.

IHATETHEBEARS #15 Posted April 27, 2009 Boing!, R8 I don't know anyone else with a MagiCard repro, so I'll include that too. Now you know someone. I got Magicard and Video Life repros from a fellow AA user. And both games suck. But I'm glad I have them.

Deteacher #17 Posted April 27, 2009 (edited) Let's see, my rarest official cart (listed on the AA database) is Death Trap(R8) However, some other rare ones include: Kabobber Repro by Vectorman0 Atari 30th Anniversary Cart by Shawn Sr. Alien Greed by Neotokeo2001 Krokodile Cart by Kroko I consider these "rare" because of the limited quantities. kyle #20 Posted April 27, 2009 (edited) My most rare 2600 game is silver label Gravitar and it's R8. I also have a bunch of 5,6 and 7's. I also had a BOXED Mean 18 for the 7800 that I got for free! But I had to sell it a few years ago when I needed some cash fast. Edited April 27, 2009 by kyle

I bet Rick has good answer for this Edited April 27, 2009 by swlovinist
