user42 #1 Posted April 29, 2009 I am wondering if Obélix was really released in the US? Atarimania says yes... http://www.atarimania.com/detail_soft.php?...ERSION_ID=11764 ..but the photo of the box looks intenational (with a (N) sticker on it). Would that be Canadian mabey? Anyways, I bring all this up because I really want to know if there is an english only (USA) manual for this game??? or should I quit looking? Thanks. Rom Hunter #2 Posted April 29, 2009 It actually is a Canadian release. I guess the manual is multi-language too. I still have to take a look at some loose Canadian exclusive releases, but I need some help from Canadian cart collectors on that. AFAIK, the ones with the N stickers on it are Canadian releases. video game addict #3 Posted April 29, 2009 I believe the NTSC carts are only the original silver labeled Atari inc labels, where the PAL versions are both Atari incs and Atari corps. So there are at least two different PAL manuals, but the earlier one is identical to the one sold in Canada with the NTSC carts. There is no English only manual for the NTSC carts. For games by Spectravideo the English only manuals are from down under and actually PAL versions, NTSC Spectravideo carts all came from Canada as far as I can tell, and these all have multi language manuals becuase of the large French speaking areas up there. So if I saw an English only Obélix manual I would still question it's origins, and it doesn't necessarily mean it's a US version. But I don't think I've ever seen an English only manual for this game. I doubt one exists.
