Not for a long long time. I can't get a 2600 to work properly on an LCD TV. Pity, I'd like to play some Atari again.

Sadly, I packed all my Atari games and systems away last night. I have a 5 month Army course starting this weekend, and I don't want the dog or uninvited guests getting into my collection while I am gone.

 

From previous stints, I find that I miss 1) My family 2) My home 3) My Atari collection.

 

I am hoping to pop unto the forum from time to time when I have a chance. Be sure to play Atari for those of us who can't but want to.

Last night it was a glorious (for me) session of Kaboom!, when I finally broke the 4,000 barrier for the first time since about 1982. I made it to 4,653.

 

I'm going to bask in the glow of my achievement before I start torturing myself with trying to get over 5K.

Just got a starpath supercharger off ebay so tried out Phaser Patrol and Escape from the mind master both worked,then back to some missile command and centipede

Sadly no since my 2600 isn't conveniently hooked up and ready to go. I have limited space in my entertainment area and can only have one system hooked up at a time. Going to do some clean-up so hopefully I'll be able to have the 2600 hooked up in addition to another system. Hoping to play today.

Yaaaay! For literally the first time this year, I got a chance to play Atari! It was my 7800. I played Jr. Pac-Man (7800 version, that is ), Space Duel, and Swoops. Man, that felt good. Thank God the class my wife is taking is on Saturday afternoons and mine isn't the same time.

After a few days without being able to play due to craziness at work, I was finally able to sit down for a nice, hour-long 5200 gaming session today.

I play Atari almost every single day, it's how I relaxe after work! I enjoy playing MESS or Stella but better yet is a quick game of Food Fight on my 7800!!

Alas, no. I made the silly mistake of "getting rid of it" a few months back. Now, I kick myself over and over again! Hopefully soon, I'll get another 2600 and have some great gaming moments again!
