VectorGamer #1 Posted May 6, 2009 I just bought a Lynx at TMG Expo for $40. I bought Robotron, Joust and Rampage all sealed and Paperboy loose. I love this system! Is there a database somewhere listing all the games released for this console? Also, critic's reviews for the games would be helpful.
VectorGamer #2 Posted May 6, 2009 I guess if I use this dude's list I would be good to go: http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=141573 Also, there's an FAQ at: http://classicgaming.gamespy.com/View.php?...game=12#reviews If anyone has a copy of the FAQ that they could upload that would be swell... ls650 #4 Posted May 6, 2009 I find that the Atari Times is great for detailed reviews with screenshots. http://www.ataritimes.com/
Ninjabba #5 Posted May 7, 2009 (edited) Just have to show it off somewhere.. I just got my second lynx II a few hours ago, with ac adapter and the games Shadow of the Beast, Hockey, Fussball, Crystal Mines 2, Bill 'n Teds excellent adventure and Batman for 50 bucks ... I bought this mainly for the adapter, cause wow it does eat batteries for breakfast Edited May 7, 2009 by Ninjabba
ls650 #6 Posted May 7, 2009 You know, some people complain about the battery life, but I find with 2500+ mAh NiMH batteries I use I get a good 5 hours out of a set of batteries. Throw them back on the charger overnight and they're ready to go again...
mcjakeqcool #7 Posted May 7, 2009 In comparison to the Sega Nomad, the Lynx's battery life is perfect.
Catsmasher #8 Posted May 7, 2009 If they had been able to get todays rechargeable batteries back then, the Lynx would have been able to more than compete with the gameboy. Once again we can claim that our beloved Atari was just "ahead of its time"
Atari6660 #9 Posted May 8, 2009 You planning on getting Battlezone 2000 or Chip's Challenge? Those were two good games for the Lynx.
shadow460 #10 Posted May 8, 2009 In comparison to the Sega Nomad, the Lynx's battery life is perfect. ROFL! How about the Turbo Express?
mcjakeqcool #11 Posted May 9, 2009 In comparison to the TurboExpress, the Atari Lynx would be the PowerSaverExpress. Lol!
