E.T were'nt the worst game on the 2600. Infact, I had some fun on it. Had it been made on the 5200 it would have probally been really good.

Yeah...even though I personally enjoy Pac-Man on the 2600. I realize the version isn't anywhere close to the arcade title (or any other system...), but it's fun in it's own right for what it is. Heh..

 

That was some video! And yes, I agree...E.T. did have it's moments and wasn't ALL bad..well, mostly..er..

This particular incident reminds me of all the times a new console is released that some idiot needs to go stand in line for 36 hours, buy one, then take it next to the line still waiting and destroy it while all who are getting frostbite/sunburn/bathroomitis look on in horror. I just don't get the mentality. Perhaps it's a power trip thing, but I personally couldn't afford to destroy a $500.00 console for fun.

I would never purposely destroy ANYTHING that myself or another person has payed money for. Unless it was something dodgy that potentialy harm my reputation, privacy and most importantly ego if I owned it. I'm not gonna lol cos this post is a serious one.

Wow, that's cool. I never tried loading a while cartbefore, but I did microwave a Pac-man PCB just out of curiosity of how much damage it can take before not working (as well as run it over, etc) I think microwaveing it finely killed it, but only after running enough time sparks started arcing between the contacts.

 

But wow, yeah, ET sucks, kids, Definately try this at home.
