Thief 4 announced

The PC games were revolutionary and the original Xbox game (Thief "3" was fantastic)

Anyone play the PC games or the Xbox 1 game?

Darn I wish this would come out for the Wii. Tenchu Shadow Assassin shows that a game like this can work on the Wii and I think picking locks with the Wiimote would be pretty cool.

But no, they won't bother, I'm sure. Too bad, I'm a big fan of the Thief series. (Oh and I only own a Wii, therefore saying for me to buy it on XBox is pointless).

I do remember hearing about this game on the Xbox. I do recall it getting a fair amount of praise. To be honest though, I never played it and in fact had forgotten all about it.

Sadly it has been forgotten but it was a great game IMO. It was a fantasy\medieval stealth game basically. One on one combat was dangerous, your best tactic was to hide in shadows and kill\knockout enemies or anyone in general.

It was very well done and if you like hiding around and playing assassin type classes (Oblivion comes to mind) then this game is the real deal.

I loved it and it is one of the few Xbox games I kept after upgrading to the 360.

 

I have played all the Thief games and loved them all. Thief 3 was the best in the series and

I can't wait for Thief 4.

 

Coincidentally, the only other Xbox game I kept was Beyond Good and Evil which also had a sequel announced for it.
