Chickybaby #6 Posted May 23, 2009 I definitely am interested and would/will pay the $30. I will sent you a PM and get back to you once I check what I have later tonight. I wouldn't need the system though I would buy the whole lot anyway. I have a Pico for Bean but am not sure of the games I have since there are a lot. Just wanted to post in the thread since atm I don't have the time to send a msg and have to get back to an urgent matter.
the.golden.ax #7 Posted June 6, 2009 (edited) Got my reply and told this is on the way and should arrive soon. My intent was not to bash power in any way. Just a search for answers. Will update again when it is delivered. Thanks, AX Edited June 6, 2009 by the.golden.ax
Chickybaby #8 Posted June 6, 2009 Ya know that's real funny because I had posted in the thread I was very interested for the lot for my daughter. No wonder he never got back to me and I finally just got rid of the PM I had sent to him - because apparently someone else went and bought it anyway while I was waiting. Two weeks since this and a couple dozen other items were paid for and still not here. Last communication same as last date seen here on AA, May 31st, where he promised to ship priority Monday the 1st. No communication or items as of Friday the 5th. Looking for a reply at this time. Thanks, AX ps - When I first msged him, he never once said it was sold.

the.golden.ax #10 Posted June 11, 2009 (edited) Power last replied Saturday the 6th. He told me to write on Monday the 8th if I still didn't have my package. So I did. No reply. Waited until Wed the 10th, wrote again, and told him that I'd like a reply and a refund. That I would gladly pay him again when the order is delivered. I told him that he had a day to reply. Now the 11th, still nothing. 18 days since being paid, 5 days without communication again (it was about that last time when I heard nothing) perhaps that is how often he gets online. I'm just reporting the facts. He did not obtain tracking for this order, and communication has been at a low. I want to be trusting, but this is a strange situation. Why not communicate or give proof of mailing after 18 days since being paid. Even if they said they just didn't get a chance to mail it... but at least telling me that. Instead though they said it was sent and should have been here already, telling me to write Monday... then nothing, no communication again... on the 6th he said it wasn't right to make it public, shamed me a bit, I appologize and still don't have stuff/communication. I thought I was being nice then, as I am now. I just want to know what is up. Posting worked last time, Power please write me. Chickybaby #11 Posted June 11, 2009 You only have so long to file a complaint with paypal, please be careful that he's not dragging it out. I just have little trust in most people. Hopefully I will be proven wrong.
MausGames #12 Posted June 12, 2009 I have a Pico for Bean but am not sure of the games I have since there are a lot. Does Bean play it much? I got one for my 4 year old niece at the Salvation Army last month, and I was kind of shocked when I saw the date on the box - I'd never seen or heard of them. She got 7 of the games, and she thinks they're awesome, but the stylus seemed way off to me when I tried it. They sure get some oddities in the electronics and toy bins...fun stuff like classic carts encased in Play-Doh. Every hobbyist should volunteer there sometime, and usually in the process stop some idiots from tossing the good stuff in the dumpster (because the box was dirty, nobody wants that old crap, I thought those were miniature 8 tracks or something, etc). the.golden.ax #13 Posted June 12, 2009 Still no reply. Pending paypal claim. Would rather have my stuff, a reply, or something. AX
mianrtcv #14 Posted June 13, 2009 This seller posted many sale threads here too. Unfortunate when these things happen. Hopefully there is a valid and proper explanation. Everyone has off days, maybe even a string... However, sooner than later the individual needs to get things back on track. I hate this side of the hobby. the.golden.ax #15 Posted June 13, 2009 Three week point, no communication for a week.. I asked a paypal mediator to take a look. This isn't my first choice, and he could have perhaps strung me along if he needed to, but communication with online deals is a must. AX

It looks like you have been screwed over. There have been a few people through the years who come on here and start selling stuff right away and then walk away with the money. He was last on AtariAge last night. If he was an honest person he would just refund your money or send you your stuff.

+wood_jl #19 Posted June 24, 2009 I find it rather unbelieveable that some scumbag would perpetrate a scam for a lowly $30. This is truly sad, and I feel for the Ax-man. But for that $30, surely Paypal will cut them off. I can't believe they'd endure that for a lowly $30; this loser must be going down the tubes anyway. I wonder how many other small scams they must have been running. I hope you can get your money back. Thank god it wasn't more.

I agree... it seems strange that someone would intentionally scam $30 over a kiddie game console lot. If his phone has been disconnected maybe he lost internet as well? or something worse happened to him? Paypal should be able to check whether he took a bunch of online payments then vanished or if this was an isolated incident. Hopefully paypal will get ax's money back, and hopefully the seller will return, apologize, and make good.

mianrtcv #23 Posted September 6, 2009 (edited) That is shameful. I pick up many different items for me, my kids and extended family... This makes me paranoid to deal with unknowns. At this point, what can the excuse be? Sort of related... I did make noise regarding the fact he had way too many open sale threads at once. Chickybaby #25 Posted September 6, 2009 If it has upset you this much, which is understandable, have you thought of tracing his address and filing a report with the local police? You have proof and that it was decided in your favor. Most departments have fax machines etc. Other then that unfortunately I don't see what else can be done. I would also make sure you update Albert with the situation besides contacting their local PD. Was anyone else scammed by this guy?
