Cupcakus #1 Posted September 29, 2002 Scince we have seen StanJr post a thread about how great Marble Craze is. Whats going on Stan! Is it too good for you now! (Hopefully I am recieved as being sarcastic)
StanJr #2 Posted September 29, 2002 Nah, it still mega awesome (one of the VCS best), but I'm currently stuck and a bit frustrated with Level 9 Marble Golf. That and I desperately need to un-jitter my paddles. On top of all of that I'm getting ready for CinciClassic next weekend. Today has really been my first amount of any free time to play games (and if you haven't heard, I finally got a working Solaris from oesii!). So its still the mega coolest, but I've not had as much time to devote to it as I'd like! But thank you for asking!
Big Player #3 Posted September 29, 2002 I'm also stuck on level 9. Of course I get there with only one or two marbles left, so I'm sure Stan will get past it before I do. I wish I had more time to play this awesome game as well. Spent all day yesterday helping a friend move. And then next weekend I'll be at the Cinciclassic. Be there if you can! NE146 #5 Posted September 29, 2002 Is there a rom for that game?
Xot #6 Posted September 30, 2002 All right, all right, all right already! I ordered my copy today! Sheesh! Any more word on Berzerk: VE yet????
Cupcakus #7 Posted September 30, 2002 Yeah I've never bought a homebrew before... but from the sound of it, I think I may need to pick this one up.
Paul Slocum #8 Posted September 30, 2002 I haven't released the ROM because it's really unplayable on emulation. Trying to play the game with the mouse is pretty much impossible, and the tricks I use to reduce flicker only work on a television. I think Z26 is the only emulator that even supports the 32K (non-superchip) bankswitching setup or the dual paddle control. If you have a Cuttle Cart and want to try it or you want to take screenshots or something, shoot me an e-mail. -Paul
Albert #9 Posted September 30, 2002 Any more word on Berzerk: VE yet???? I know you're aware that copies are now available, so I'm not sure what you mean. Are you talking about Berzerk VE in emulators? ..Al
StanJr #10 Posted September 30, 2002 Yeah I've never bought a homebrew before... but from the sound of it, I think I may need to pick this one up. If you are looking to get into the world of homebrews, this my friend is the ULTIMATE homebrew to pick up. I also hear something called "Thrust" is pretty good too.... Are you talking about Berzerk VE in emulators? ..Al Sorry - I posted this about ten minutes before I got your e-mail about Berzerk VE. Maybe I just needed to order Marble Craze to make Berzerk VE available?

StanJr #13 Posted October 1, 2002 Yes a flagon of mead and your finest redheaded woman. Oh, and a dollar. That should just about do it! Can't wait to see you there! Stan
Rob Mitchell #14 Posted October 1, 2002 I cannot believe you would try to play an awesome game like Marble Craze with jittery paddles! It is such a masterpiece that it requires well maintained equipment and paddles mounted on the sides of a box for ultimate control ! Roll on mighty marble! StanJr #15 Posted October 1, 2002 No one is more upset about it than me! Trust me. Sadly I lack any skill at taking things apart and getting them back together. I actually don't like the mounted box method as much as I do just setting the paddles side by side!
