Z80GUY #1 Posted May 22, 2009 I was wondering if it would be possible to install a TIA and a RIOT chip in a commodore 128 with a switch so that you could set the switch to on and use the ML monitor to hand assemble 2600 software on a commodore in real Time ?. I do not know if this is possible or not, as my google searching has turned up nothing relating to my question. sorry if this question seems stupid but with all the hardware hacks out there it seemed like a good question. +GroovyBee #3 Posted May 22, 2009 Why would you want to? You have a vastly superior PC (than the target C128 hardware), with gigs of storage and a GHz CPU, a pretty decent emulator and DASM. Z80GUY #4 Posted May 22, 2009 just thought if it was possible it would be fun to try as I have an extra c=128 and just got another 2600 vader console, but if it is not possible it is not possible.
