+GroovyBee #2 Posted May 24, 2009 If you have written permission from the copyright holder then its not a problem. If they are pirate copies then its a problem.

Chickybaby #6 Posted May 24, 2009 You've been a member here how long? Alright you know the rules, lol. It's a quick way to start an argument and problems for everyone involved. Definitely not recommended and is considered serious no-no. The only exception again would be consent as stated. Is offering free Nintendo NES and SNES ROMS on a website a no-no? Pirated Software/Music/Movies/etc. Do not post information on where to obtain pirated software, music, movies, or other copyrighted media. Please also do not post such material directly to the forums. We will tolerate posting information regarding binary images for classic gaming consoles and computers, where the company controlling the copyrights is either no longer in business, unknown, or is not actively protecting the copyrights. Likewise, please do not post the entire contents of a story or article from another website directly into a thread on AtariAge. Quoting sections of such material is acceptable. I don't think any more needs to be said.
