Left Colecovision Power ON

Well, I left my Colecovision with the power on (I don't know how long, a few days?). There is no picture now. What could have happened? Burned out power supply or burned out something in the console? It may even not be related to the power being on, but that's what I suspect. Anyone else done this before?

This wasn't my modded ColecoVision was it? If so, I'd first check to see if the RF output still works. If so, then the video circuit is blown. If even through RF, the output is still black, there's almost no way to tell. I would venture to guess that either the CPU or VDP is blown, if there is no visable output at all.

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope it's fixable. The painful lesson learned here I believe is to always unplug your consoles after each use.

Or - get Doubledown to mod a LED power light into it :-). I have never unplugged my consoles each time, but that's a good idea. I think I'll plug my consoles into a separate power strip that is accessible (easier to turn everything on and off).
