i2a2n2 #1 Posted May 29, 2009 Hello everyone, third time poster long time lurker, I just recently purchased a Leisure vision and unfortunatly for me the bug has bit from what I have read here and elsewhere the leisure vision was something like an arcadia 2001 clone only having a production life of 2 years and almost all of it in the bargain bin from 82-84 I haven'y really had much success in finding anyone who has any games available for it accept 1 recent ebay lot which was for mainly just french manuals. I figured that this would probably be one of if not the best place to find someone who is wanting to get rid of any games they may have. I'd prefer games that came with the boxes but beggars can't be chooser when it comes to this system I gues lol, I'm not really sure how much these games go for because I haven't seen any around (I guess that could be a good thing or a bad thing) anyways I have some feedback over on nintendo age, and gametradingzone under the same name. I have cold hard Paypal cash, and or other goodies to trade. I have well over 300 loose NES games a loose atari 2600 with a few games nothing majorly rare for either sytsems but a few average rarity games. I have a bunch of other nick nacks like tv series on dvd, factory sealed super mario land for the GBA, etc etc if you have any leisure vision game that you want to get rid of please leave a message here or PM me and I'll try to get back to you as soon as possible. thanks for your time Ian
Tempest #2 Posted May 30, 2009 You're going to have a real hard time finding anyone with Arcadia/Leisurevision games for sale or trade. It's not a very common system and it pretty unpopular with collectors. I have a mostly complete collection but nothing extra for trade. Ebay is your best bet. Ianoid might have some games as well, he seems to be able to get a hold of them pretty regularly. The Arcadia/Leisurevision is a great system though. Welcome to the fold... i2a2n2 #3 Posted May 31, 2009 (edited) I figured it was going to be an uphill battle but I've pretty much carpet bombed most of the gaming websites that I know about lol thank you for the welcome. more on the story of getting my Leisure vision I went to a yardsale and saw a CIB nes action set, and a second Nes with about a dozen loose games and another 4 or so CIB games, then out of the corner of my eye I saw the lesure vision CIB syro, hookups and it even had the original cardboard box that holds the powersupply inside the styro, and 4 CIB games that are about a 7- 7.5 out of 10 with the inserts for the controls and both french and english manuals, Ocean battle, Baseball, Robot killer, and alien invaders 40 for the leisure and 50 for the Nes's and games canadian. after seing that only something like 37 games were made for the LV alone, I knew I had a quest lol. I'll be sure to contact Ianoid thanks again. Ian Edited May 31, 2009 by i2a2n2

i2a2n2 #5 Posted May 31, 2009 thank you for the offer but right now I want to try and stay with just the games that have Leisure vision written on the front of the boxes I will keep you in mind if I decide to branch out a bit
coleconut #7 Posted July 17, 2009 ...and 4 CIB games that are about a 7- 7.5 out of 10 ... I've not had much luck determining rarity of Leisurevision games. Ill have a quick look at my dupes for you, I have many titles but they are from various manufacturers.

Yeah it's kind of hard to do, especially given the fact that one game may be rare on the Arcadia (like Red Clash) and fairly common on the LV or other clones. There's really no pattern to it other than exclusives tend be rarer than others for some reason (like Route 16 on the LV). You can see my collection in this picture (starts on the bottom and continues up on the next shelf) Tempest
lucifershalo #9 Posted July 17, 2009 I have a LV Route 16 CIB for sale but I have to say the difference between hanimex / LV and Home Arcade is so small (box has the same design and color) are you sure you should focus only on LV?
bretthorror #10 Posted July 17, 2009 I saw one of these with 8 boxed games for $80 at a used store once. I passed on it because I didn't even know what a LeisureVision was and I was picking up funeral clothes out of town and didn't have time to check everything out (and I wanted to be sure controllers and whatnot worked). Looks like I was stupid for that.
i2a2n2 #11 Posted July 18, 2009 well I would like to focus mainly on the LV but because of the amount of trouble I've been having tracking them down I might have to expand my horizons. RE: Coleconut-when I said 7.5 out of ten I ment condition the game was in... but I would gladly hear out offers drop me a PM with what your offering and what your looking for and hopefully we could work something out. Re: Tempest Very impressive collection Lucifershalo PM me if you don't mind what your looking for for it or if there is anything that your looking for as a trade thanks all for the reply's side note I just picted up another system and 3 games off of ebay recently but other then that nada ... ah well the excitement is in the hunt anyways
