ITT games arrived...Music Machine not

Recommended Posts

So I was away for a few weeks, and CPUWiz kindly made me a Music Machine, which sadly never arrived here at my location. My PP account never made the transfer, so I'm at a loss whats going on there. After many sleepless nights trying to sort everything out, I am giving up on that. I was looking forward to it as well.

On the other hand, I was awaiting 4 ITT boxed games and two ITT boxes/instructions , which will complete my ITT range, with Pumuckl 1 and Wilma Wanderer never released (Pumuckl 1 is available as Aufruhr im Zoo, and Wilma Wanderer is available as Alices Abenteuer). Also, AA lists Base Attack as a ITT game, I think this is a mistake? Can someone confirm?

Is there any info on ITT games besides TeleMatch adverts? Is (was) it the same Puerto Rico company listed on Wiki? What's the German connection, as all ITT games start with German instructions (not English as normally).

Anyway, I am very happy to now have the (almost) complete ITT, including boxes, manuals, cart etc. I say almost, as I received two empty boxes, Cosmic Town and Fire Birds, but I already knew that and the carts are already on its way to me. Only a matter of days, then my ITT collection is truly complete.

Scans needed for Atarimania or so, please ask. Instructions for AA also?

Hello

you already send the game a week ago? Well, I can assure you, nothing arrived in Germany yet. Although it can take up to two weeks to arrive in Europe. Sometimes even five weeks if it's going by surface mail. I just ordered a keyboard from USA (with this US seller my Paypal payment worked without problem), and it took three weeks to arrive at the address I am staying here in germany.

So I transmit a Paypal again, and if it doesn't work this time I will return the game if and when it arrives. So terrible hot after the game I am not, too much hassle. But I am in France from 12 May for five weeks and no-one will open my mail coming to Germany during this time.

Regards

If and when, me? Since you're back, that was a quick 5 weeks, huh?

ITT games are an eye catcher and worth the few bucks!!!!

BTW Most of the members here dealt with CPUWIZ in the past and in present. He is one of the best craftsman here and I am sure that we all agree that he is 100% reliable! No doubts about that!!!!!

Yep.

It's a mistake.

Base Attack was released by Home Vision, not ITT Family Games.

Is there any info on ITT games besides TeleMatch adverts? Is (was) it the same Puerto Rico company listed on Wiki? What's the German connection, as all ITT games start with German instructions (not English as normally).
ITT Family Games is a subsidiary of ITT Schaub Lorenz, formerly a

major player in the European consumer electronics industry. They

produced a number of games (mostly licenced copies) with very nice

cartridge labels and cover-art for the white plastic VHS tape-type boxes

(although Alien's Return, Meteor Defense, and Peter Penguin have been

found in cardboard boxes.) Their prime target was the German market.

They produced three games that had a tie-in with the popular comic book

gnome (at least in Germany, anyways) "Pumuckl". Another tie-in was with

a comic space hero "Perry Rhodan" who appeared in a sci-fi magazine.

When their games did not garner the interest of gamers that they had

hoped for, ITT made a desperate attempt to sell some of their games for

half-price through their High-Score Club. They were unsuccessful in this

method as well, and this resulted in the low production rate of their later

games. Too bad, we really would've liked to have seen "Pumuckl II". Most

ITT games are clones or rip ofs from Homevision and R.J.P.G. games. It is

not known if these games were licencend to ITT. There has even been

sightings of ITT labels being glued over a Homevision cartridge label.

Nice sharp manual scans (including the covers of the manuals) would be great.

Dont trust the German Postal System, they throw things in a corner room for about 8 weeks just for the fun of it. ;)
