Krytol #1 Posted September 30, 2002 I thought this was kinda cool because a) I'd never heard of it and b) I never find anything "in the box" at thrifts.
Rob Mitchell #2 Posted September 30, 2002 I thought this was kinda cool ... Yes indeed! I've never seen a pink QuickShot joystick before! Cool! Rob Mitchell, Atlanta, GA
Krytol #3 Posted September 30, 2002 The scan doesn't show, but it's VERY pink. I understand they released 5 different colors.
Atarian75 #4 Posted September 30, 2002 I have a blue and a green one. Neither are boxed though. I have never seen the pink one until now.
Krytol #5 Posted September 30, 2002 There was another, unboxed one at the same store. I think it was brown or orange, I can't remember.
The Night Phantom #6 Posted October 1, 2002 The scan doesn't show, but it's VERY pink. At last, a joystick just for Ms. Pac-Man!
Monochrome #7 Posted October 1, 2002 Barbie's Dream Joystick....
Mindfield #8 Posted October 1, 2002 I doubt you'll find attractive colours at thrifts -- even for old stuff like that. I imagine this one was there for the same reason sales of the Fuschia Gameboy Advance went over like wet reed.
CrazyImpmon #9 Posted October 1, 2002 I have a purple version of this controller, and I remember seeing an ad in late 80's magazine from Beeshu for many controllers including this line and Zipper controller for NES (same hot colors but shaped like NES pad) The colors were purple, pink, green, blue, and grey. I don't think there is an orange controller by this company but I'll have to look up that ad. If I ever find that ad, I'll try to remember and scan it in for you to look at. The auto fire feature is really useful in games like SW: ESB so you don't wear your thumb out blasting those AT-ATs. First time I tried it, I was able to wipe them out as fast as new one appeared and lasted so long on the first life. I think I could hit an all time high score if I took the time.
