Parrothead #1 Posted June 5, 2009 Feast your eye on this baby that was a part of huge Craiglist score today. I am keeping this thing. It weighs a ton and feels like it's very high quality. Anyone have one of these or have seen one of these.

Parrothead #11 Posted June 5, 2009 I got the strange 'refresh' thing too. Nice, always wanted one of them. Not sure why you all have to refresh to see the photo? Strange? This was part of another large Craigslist score. $300 and I got tons of stuff. About 15 systems a few hundred games, Jag and games, Turbo Grafx & Games, tons of Intelli games. Atari 5200 games (boxed Gremlins , Atari 2600 games and a lot of misc. controllers, ac adapters, crap I am picking through it keeping some things and listing the rest on the Chuckwagon. Anyone need a 2600 system? There were about 8 of them in this lot. $10/system + shipping. Let me know and you can have first dibs before I list them. Also, about 60-80 common carts - pacs, etc. Maybe someone wants them for homebrews, hacks, etc. Let me know. Let ya have them cheap.

+save2600 #13 Posted June 5, 2009 I remember those advertised in the TI-99 Triton catalogues from back in the day. They look impressive to be sure. Here's another 2600 compatible oddity in my collection. Very cool having built in rotary dials for Breakout, Pong, etc.

keilbaca #20 Posted June 5, 2009 I haven't gotten around to building my perfect Atari joystick. I have built my own sticks before however. It would include arcade parts inside of it, and it would also include a built in paddle controller when I am done. At any rate, that's a very nice score. That's something I most definitely want. Video #21 Posted June 5, 2009 Not sure why haveing to refresh to see it, maybe the image is to big? (it is quiet large, though I've seen lots that size and larger so...) Nice stick by the way, that's what I was aiming for in the late 90's when I made mine.. I remember those advertised in the TI-99 Triton catalogues from back in the day. They look impressive to be sure. Here's another 2600 compatible oddity in my collection. Very cool having built in rotary dials for Breakout, Pong, etc. That thing looks good for Marble Craze. Sweet, I'd love to play some Atari on that, and Marble craze...it's PERFECT!! I shall get to work on one immidiately.
+save2600 #22 Posted June 6, 2009 That thing looks good for Marble Craze. Wow, you're right! Never thought of that and Marble Craze is a homebrew I have yet to purchase. Where or where is that AA sale? lol I've been waiting for that and a slew of new homebrews for a while now.
Godzilla #23 Posted June 6, 2009 is that an actual production controller? looks like it came from some country that favors umlauts where can we all get one?
+save2600 #24 Posted June 6, 2009 (edited) is that an actual production controller? looks like it came from some country that favors umlauts where can we all get one? Yes, it was in production and sold commercially. I believe I got this in a large lot of Amiga stuff back in the day. I swear too that it was sold through the Triton catalogues. In fact, I've got one semi-handy... I'll go check and post the ad if I can find it. The joystick totally rocks. Feels great in the hands. Microswitches throughout, but well built. I even cleaned all the pots with contact cleaner for smooth, jitter-free operation. Shall we start the bidding at $500? LOL! Or will trade for a TI-99 MBX system w/ Championship Baseball :-) -update- Guess I was confusing my joystick with the one Parrothead has in the Triton Catalogue. Here's a scan of the cover (don't know why the kid is holding that expensive expansion card so close to his static filled wool sweater!) and description of his joy....
