Herbarius #1 Posted June 12, 2009 (edited) Tonight I had a dream about an Arcade game... A group of people gathered around it to see this, it was said it's a new game. I don't really remember how it was played, however on the screen it had a farm, some cows etc. in comic style graphics. A girl was playing the game while the crowd was watching... Suddenly a window/textbox of some sort popped up, and in the upper left corner it had a picture of the girl playing the game! Everyone was like "Ooooh!" and "Wow!" as it turned out, the Arcade had a camera which automatically took a picture of the player to use it in the game. I would have liked to play the game as well, but I had more important matters to attend to, it was one of those dreams again where I am some kind of refugee, among a group of refugees... I just thought I'd share this experience, maybe some other people dreamt up new Arcades as well? Edited June 12, 2009 by Herbarius
Koopa64 #2 Posted June 12, 2009 If this counts, I've had a dream or two before about a Neo Geo (AES/NGH). I believe in this one dream I had Baseball Stars 2 and some other titles. It was just the most epic thing ever. I'd love to own one eventually (though I can't believe I actually had a dream concerning the system though, kind of creepy ). The arcade game Journey was supposed to work something like that.. the player was to have their picture taken and their likeness would appear on the small body of the character they would move throughout the game. Unfortunately, juvenile minds took perverse delight in having pictures taken of their unmentionables and using them as their characters. Bally/Midway dropped this and used the members of Journey. Game Boy Camera took a picture of you and you could play little mini-games with your face on a stick-figure.
