Herbarius #1 Posted June 14, 2009 I don't have original manuals for any of my games, yet I like to have something to read the rules and get in the mood for playing, but not on the computer, but having it in my hands... So I downloaded manual scans for the games, printed them, even put staples in them so I can turn the pages like a real manual. Of course it's still obvious that it's not the original manual, for one thing I only print them in black and white to save ink, the paper format doesn't match and so on... but that's okay, I don't want to have 100% replicas of the manuals. Okay, now after I've given you a little introduction let me tell you about the topic, as I've encountered a problem. The manuals for Sky Jinks and Kangaroo that you find here on AtariAge appear to be missing pages: If you count all pages (on Kangaroo you've to count one page twice, because it's actually two pages in one scan) they both total to 6 - which is not a multiple of 4. Are there missing pages? If not, where are the blank pages positioned in the manuals?
user42 #2 Posted June 14, 2009 (edited) Edit : Sorry...they are both good.... Sky Jinks is a three page fold out and Kangaroo is a poster... Edited June 14, 2009 by user42
Herbarius #3 Posted June 14, 2009 Oh, okay I understand what you mean... this will prove difficult Thanks for you quick reply.
user42 #4 Posted June 14, 2009 No problem. Just thought I would also point out that Kangaroo has 8 "pages" there. The one you refered to as... (on Kangaroo you've to count one page twice, because it's actually two pages in one scan) ...is really 4 (one side of the poster).
Herbarius #5 Posted June 14, 2009 Yes, thanks, I already figured that out after your previous post
classicgamingguy #6 Posted June 15, 2009 I also like to have something in my hands when playing from the game. I try to collect the original manuals, however, since I find those more satisfying. A manual scan would do in a pinch, but I'm a purist, and obsessed..terribly, terribly obsessed..
