mos6507 #26 Posted July 3, 2009 I'd be happy if the rotation were added but only available for OpenGL (ala TV effects). It's a pretty nichey feature but is a good finishing touch to support all the games. One of these days you have to try to add Compumate emulation also
+stephena #27 Posted July 4, 2009 A new version of Stella is now released, which fixes the major bugs mentioned in this thread. Please move all discussion to the 2.8.4 thread.
Polybius #28 Posted July 4, 2009 I seem to be having trouble with Stella 2.8.3. when I try to play any games written in the PAL format, it closes out and I get an error message. It says something like "Assertion Failed!" I noticed my old Stella 2.3.5 will play them just fine. can someone help me out here?

It says something like "Assertion Failed!" I noticed my old Stella 2.3.5 will play them just fine. can someone help me out here? I won't be able to get to this until after vacation (see the 2.8.4 release thread for more info on that). My first guess would be the screen size isn't large enough for the PAL ROMs, but since it worked in the past, I have no idea what's going on. Please move the discussion to the 2.8.4 thread, and also try to provide as much info as possible (version of Stella, operating systems, ROMs tried, software or OpenGL rendering, video card and drivers, etc). mos6507 #31 Posted July 4, 2009 I know this is off topic, but where did you get the Spectravideo keyboard? I don't have one. I just hit up Google image search to find a pic. They show up on Ebay now and then. I don't think they are ultra-rare.
